Clyde Hill

5,638sf  Completed

This 5638sf custom home, located a few blocks north of Clyde Hill Elementary, was completed in 2008.

A showcase for the quality and skill of the Madrona team, the finish level of this home was significantly higher than competing listings.

West Bellevue custom

The library, fully wrapped in clear cherry and featuring a marble-wrapped fireplace, demonstrates the exceptional skills of our finish carpenters and painters.

This is a finish level not typically found in spec homes, but achievable in a custom home at the same price point.

The extensive use of millwork throughout our homes is evident in this dining room photo.

Built-up crown moldings, raised-panel wainscot, and multi-piece casing tied into the crown all contribute to the classic, sophisticated look.

Dining room

This view is from the great room towards the kitchen. The main living spaces in this home were designed to feel open and bright, yet warm and welcoming.

Walls of French doors bring in a tremendous amount of natural light, and connect the rooms with outdoor spaces.

Great room

From the custom cabinets with full extension guides, to the roomy island, to the dual dishwashers and a Subzero, this kitchen has it all.

Kitchens that look great and also work well don't just happen, they require considerable up-front planning and a high level of attention to details during construction.

Kitchen

Beautiful brazilian cherry hardwood, with it's deep rich brown tones, was chosen throughout the main level.

Just out of sight on the right is the staircase to the basement, which features a home theater, a 1500-bottle wine cellar, and a sports bar.

Hall

This powder room features a stone vessel sink on black pearl granite, with an elegant multi-layered plaster finish on the walls.

Some elements of quality can be subtle. Note for example, the architectural quality 1-3/4" thick Trustile interior doors, and Baldwin door hardware that was used throughout this home.

The faucet was installed after this photo was taken.

Powder room

This custom wrought-iron railing, hand made at a local iron shop in Seattle's SoDo district, was a favorite design element among many who toured the home.

Actually a single continous piece, it was brought in from Seattle and installed in just 4 hours. Various light fixtures on the main level were matched to the style of the railing.

Stairs

Elegant stone work, heated floors, and a rain-head shower with 1/2" glass surround are to be expected at this price level.

Soaking tubs however, are often barely functional even in multi-million dollar homes. This extra deep MTI whirlpool bath, on the other hand, has multiple inline heaters, dozens of jets and LED lighting.

This master bath really is a private retreat.

This home features California Closets throughout. The master closet shown here is real cherry wood and has all the features from multiple jewelry drawers to LED lighting.
